SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a QA/QC Specialist. The QA/QC Specialist is responsible for conducting internal quality audits and other quality assurance activities as assigned to ensure conformance within the Dining Facility of Sanitation, Food Preparation, food storage receiving procedures, serving in Taji Iraq.


•Conducts Dining facilities audits and inspection to ensure that sanitation, Food Preparation, Serving of food along with cleanliness of the Dining Facility is maintained continuously.

•Measures performance requirements defined in customer specifications.

•Ensure that all guidelines pertaining to food Service is adhered to and followed.

•Implement, perform, and maintain quality assurance process sampling system and statistical techniques.

•Ensure that Supervisors conduct daily inspections of Food Service personnel to ensure that employees is free of diseases, uniform is clean and all personnel is clean shaven and no jewelry is worn during the preparation cooking and serving of meals.

•Plan, prepare, and present quality training: manage training, equipment maintenance.

•Assist Dining Facility Manager with internal and customer corrective action.

•Act as quality point of contact for customers and inspectors, for DFAC operations.

•Inspect the quality of delivery to the Dining Facility, Food products and consumables.

•Perform other Duties as assigned.


•Minimum five years’ work experience in Food Service in a supervisor position.

•Bachelor Degree; may substitute two (2) additional years of experience for each year of college.

•Serve Safe qualified that must be active.

•Relevant overseas government contracting experience preferably with the Department of Defense.

•Understanding of QAQC Activities and accountabilities.

•Ability to understand relationship between QAQC activities and contract performance.

• Ability to wear Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) such as a ballistic vest and helmet



•Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

•Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

•Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
