About the Job
STG, Inc. is seeking a Services Engineer to add to its team in support of the United States Air Force. This position is located in Montgomery, Alabama. The Services Engineer will support both the Identity Management and Deployment and Configuration Services teams.
Provide identity management services to protect and sustain the security posture of the network.
Selectively monitor interactions and manage all active identities to include user, services, machines, and services identify based on PKI.
Ensure access privileges are granted according to the defined security policies.
Support user creation including identity confirmation and verification, user management, user accesses, and user revocation.
Provide engineering, technical, and administrative support to maintain the integrity of server and operating system infrastructure.
Install, configure, patch, test, and maintain server and client operating systems.
Monitor and replace PKI certificates.
Collaborate on and follow customer release processes and schedules for installs and availability.
Track all deployment and configuration activities scheduled.
Assist with troubleshooting of problems related to commercial and government products.
Install and manage automation tools used for software, services, and application deployment.
Create and modify automation scripts to execute IT tasks to include server provisioning and patch management.
Provide hands on technical support for Enterprise Resource Planning implementations.
Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation as needed.
High School Diploma
4+ years in System Engineering to include hands on technical support.
Experienced in configuration management, OS patch management, and package deployment
Thorough knowledge of Identity Access Management
Experienced integrating hardware and software solutions
Experienced with both commercial and government cloud environments
Active Secret clearance.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC, Security+)
8+ years in System Engineering to include hands on technical support.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
