SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Systems Analyst - Sentinel Development Team Support in Ft. Meade, Maryland.
Overview:The SENTINEL database developed in Structured Query Language (SQL) will provide agencies such as ACIC’s FISS Assessments Branch, and the 902d Military Intelligence Group with a stable platform to build an Army-centric threat database of information on FIS activity directed against the US Army, its weapons systems, and future technology developments as directed by AR 381--The new SQL version of SENTINEL is required to safely maintain existing data, and to add functionality and data storage capability to meet the existing and new requirements in supporting the ongoing development of the CI COP for current CI situational awareness, and daily documentation, integration, and relation of CI data to support ongoing analytical efforts. Additionally, it supports Department of the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (DAMI-GXC) tasking memo, subject: Foreign Intelligence Service and Foreign Terrorist Organizations Electronic Communications (U), dated 27 Feb 2009, directing ACIC to database designated information. SENTINEL is a relational database that documents information on foreign persons or entities, foreign establishments, and foreign activity, and relates that information to DOD/ARMY- related weapon programs, technologies, and locations where they reside.
SENTINEL allows for in-depth pattern analysis of FIS activity by structuring data in a relational database. The branch has over 100,000 records involving foreign personnel or activities of CI interest and information related to US technology programs which will be entered into the SENTINEL database:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Will be part of the Development team for SENTINEL which is a web application that provides the capability to manage information related to foreign targeting of US Army technologies and acquisition programs.
- Construct, organize, script, modify, maintain, and populate the SENTINEL database.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/or 4 years' Intelligence Analysis experience with certification in SQL server and any other specific software associated with the system
- 3 years of experience with C++ or comparable object oriented language (e.g., Java), SQL Server or comparable SQL database (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, etc.),
