STG, Inc. has an immediate opportunity as a Senior Solutions Architect located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ! This position will support NETCOM G-6 providing cutting edge services and tools to the United States Army.

As a Senior Solutions Architect you will provide IT support to NETCOM G-6 and supported organizations for Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) hardware, software, data, applications, tools, systems used by the Army. This includes direct support to NETCOM G-6 with business operations, Cybersecurity, Knowledge Management Integration (KMI), Army Enterprise Service Ownership/Development, Capability Management and Content Management requirements. You will be expected to provide support in line with industry best practices such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and provide support on all environments, hardware, software, applications, tools, systems, or networks used by the Government. Work will include but is not limited the following tasks:

  • Designs, builds, and engineers the computing environments and IT Systems solutions in support of NETCOM G-6.

  • Subject Matter Expert for all IT systems support and troubleshooting.

  • Provide provisions for validating, prioritizing, and delivering requirements and solutions for execution and publishing processes through the development of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), ETPs, and portal announcements, content management, website, system/database development, testing, deployments, administration, operation and maintenance (O&M), and operational sustainment/lifecycle management.

  • Provide and reinforce security of all assigned knowledge systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information and business processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS + 8 years of Information Technology (IT) experience or AA/AS + 6 or BA/BS + 4 at minimum

  • Must have IASAE II certification (CISSP, CSSLP, or CASP) or equivalent prior to hire

  • Must acquire current Computing Environment (CE) certification CCIE, MCSE or MCSD) w/in 180 days of hire

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations

  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary

  • Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the following tools: Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco Video Communication Server, Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Polycom RMX, Polycom RealPresence Resource Manager, Polycom Distributed Media Application

  • Providing support for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS VTC's Unclassified/Classified

  • Expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gatekeepers, gateways, and other assets as required

  • Configuring VTC systems for compliance with DoD and Army regulations DISA STIGs and IAVAs

  • Experience designing applications, developing, operating and maintaining portals, web sites and applications on an enterprise scale.

  • Web software development utilizing C#, ASP.NET, Java, Java Script, PHP, XMLO, JSON, JQuery, SQL, HTML.

  • Experienced both SharePoint and Non SharePoint environments

  • Experience with tools such as, Fortify, Quest WebParts, Dell QuickApps, Nintex, Microsoft ASP.NET, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and other third-party Government provided technologies.

  • Assist with issues and effectively troubleshoot and document complex technical problems

  • Document technical troubleshooting efforts in ticketing system and Knowledge Management Systems

  • Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadline

  • Follow organizational processes and polices

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor team members and colleagues

  • Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities

  • Interact with customer representatives on highly advanced technical issues

  • Compose and deliver reports and presentations of the highest professional quality

  • Recommends technologies to accomplish long-term objectives

  • Develops concepts, products, or technologies that extend knowledge in fields of expertise

  • Exhibits exceptional ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

  • Explains and presents high-level technical subjects and processes related to assignments

  • Acts independently on technical matters pertaining to assigned field and related disciplines

  • Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision

  • Communicate effectively with team members and team lead

  • Perform other duties as assigned
